Everyone in Texas goes to HEB! HEB picked Moth to Flame to do a spec! HEB picked Moth to Flame as one of the 20 filmmakers to shoot a spec for Web and TV usage, targeting Texas moms, showcasing some of their products. I thought to myself, what better way to showcase HEB’s food than to film a real Texas family having a good time? I immediately contacted my friend Emily Albino, whose entire family uses HEB and are born and raised in Texas. Moth to Flame recently shot Emily’s wedding video with Coloredlion.com. Every semester it feels like my workload keeps increasing exponentially. The one word I need to keep continuing to learn how to use is "No." Fortunately, after being asked to help out with the 2011 Mr. McCombs pageant, I am glad that I did not say no to this opportunity. It was a big rush. Only a few hours, sometimes, just 30 minutes to film something that hopefully would be funny or compelling. Carlos Dinkins, one of my favorite actors and friends (because of his ability to deliver in a shameless matter) said yes immediately of course... then David Isquick,...

What better way than to showcase all the different student organized organizations at McCombs? Here is a compilation of the clubs that were able to donate their time and be a part of the film. Great work everyone.

This was a project commissioned by MBA 2011 student, Aaron Lyons. Aaron Lyons is planning on launching a restaurant in the near future and wanted something that would generate buzz about his company. The special nature of this project was that everyone in the commercial were MBA students (1st and 2nd years). We shot everything in a matter of 4 hours. We wanted to portray that Urban Dish is a lifestyle – hip and healthy. The first concept “How You Like me Now” stemmed from a collaborative brainstorming effort between the different producers. The second idea “Don’t Eat Trash” was…
