The Rocket Brothers shoot was awesome, mostly because it started in the afternoon (which is always awesome) and ended on time (also awesome.) Just kidding… What made it awesome was the people, cast and crew. The band was the nicest bunch of folks I’d met in awhile, and the crew was in high spirits like usual.
Moth to Flame and Austin Phoenix went to 8 locations throughout Austin, per the suggestions of some entrepreneurs. We wanted to see where startups like to frequent. This is what we came up with!
The idea to reality of A Bird’s Nest has been a whirlwind. It took one short story, by Eric Hwang, written almost a decade ago and the right lead, Deke Garner, to spark the inspiration for this short film. The screenplay, adapted by Christine Chen, will be shot in Shreveport, Louisiana, May 28-30, 2014. More updates to come. Here is our first official poster designed by Alicia Marshall.

It is crazy to think that 2013 has already come and gone and we are already planning for 2014 SXSW!
