5:00 AM rolled around and sure enough, my friend, Nicolas Putnam was already on his way to pick me up for surfing. Despite going to bed the previous night fairly late, I surprisingly found it not difficult to wake up. I am sure the “first time” surfing nerves helped. Bigroundballs.com should sound familiar because I worked with them a year ago, when I lived in LA for the summer of 2011 to do an internship at 20th Century Fox. It is a non-profit charity that my dear friend Nicolas Putnam started with his friend Joel Lyftogt to help raise awareness and money for testicular cancer research.
